As this Saturday evening settles in, I come before You, Lord. I look back on the week that has passed—my thoughts, my words, and my deeds. Please search my heart and cleanse me from all that has not honored You. Remove from me now the noise and disturbances of the world’s entertainment. Quiet my soul, and help me prepare a heart that is still and ready to turn toward sacred worship. Stir within me a true and deep longing for Your Word and for Your presence. I lift up tomorrow’s gathering to You. Prepare the heart of the speaker, bless the worship, and knit our fellowship together in Your love. As the Psalmist says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Help me to truly know this stillness tonight. I entrust this night and the coming day into Your hands. In Jesus Name Amen.
