My Lord Jesus Christ, I bow before You this solemn evening. I adore You for Your ultimate sacrifice of love, for laying down Your life on the Cross. The weight of that gift leaves me in awe. My heart is filled with sorrow for the sin in me and in the world, the very sin that made Your suffering necessary. I am humbled by the cost. Yet, I receive the forgiveness and redemption Your precious blood has purchased. “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” You cried, so I would never be forsaken. Into Your wounded hands, I place my own burdens and pains, asking to unite them with Yours, that they may find meaning in Your victory. Thank You. It is finished. In Jesus Name Amen.
