As this Tuesday evening settles in, I pause to count Your graces, Lord. Thank You for the steady rhythm of this day, for the work completed, for the moments of quiet connection, and for the simple gift of breath in my lungs. I reaffirm my trust in You for all that tomorrow holds, known and unknown. You see the path ahead when I cannot. I ask for Your peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding, to guard my heart and my mind tonight. I entrust to Your care my own weariness and the needs of my family. Watch over us, Father, as we rest in the confidence that You never slumber nor sleep. “In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.” I receive this promise from Your Word.
