As the week draws to a close and the quiet of this Friday evening settles in, I come before You. I reflect on the challenges and successes of these past days, seeing them all now in the gentle light of Your unwavering love. My heart turns to contemplate the depth of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross—the ultimate, profound act of love that holds all my moments. In the face of such grace, I release to You any regrets or shortcomings from this week, laying them down at the foot of that cross. Thank You, Father, for the precious gift of rest and for the coming Sabbath, a holy pause You have ordained. Your word in Psalm 62:5 echoes in my soul: “Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him.” In this stillness, I find my hope and my rest in You alone. I place this night and the day to come into Your loving hands. In Jesus Name Amen.
